Well, it is Friday! TGIF! I wanted to keep my self accountable to my money saving goals by reminding myself of my successes this week. It was a great week for coupon deals. Especially at Walgreens! My store has a military discount of 15% on Tuesdays. I combine this with sales and rebates to layer on the savings. Do you you try to layer your coupon strategies? Here are some highlights from the week.
#1 Tic Tacs for $.15 each- Walmart sells these for $1.14. I had several insert coupons for $.50. This brought the total down to .64. There is a rebate on Ibotta for $.50 each on these. This brought the total down to $.14. I love to use Ibotta. I roll the gift cards from one week on to more Ibotta items. That way I don’t have to pay much out of pocket. If you have not joined Ibotta, you can sign up at this link: https://ibotta.com/get-the-app This will take you to the website that will send you to your app store to download the app. If you put in my code: ekebnhr when you register, we can be teammates! When you have people on your team, you earn faster!
#2 We attended an orchestra concert at a local middle school to support a few friend’s kids. This was cool for my kids to see and free!
#3 I got a free rotisserie chicken from my Safeway app. I am stretching the chicken for three meals. The first day was chicken and rice. The second day was chicken and gravy over toast. Today.. maybe chicken noodle soup?
#4 I used Walmart grocery pick up. This is a service I love. I don’t have to take my kids out of the car and be tempted by the million impulse buys! You can get $10.00 off your first online grocery order by using the code WOWFRESH. This is for an order of $50.00 or more. This code worked when I used it.
#5 I cashed out $25.00 PayPal from the Website: Earning Station. https://www.earningstation.com/account/login. I signed up with this website about a month ago. So far, I am really liking it. I have mostly used the Smore’s TV video section, which can run for quite awhile on it’s own. It is one point for every 3 videos. 1 point is one cent. You can also get points for many other activities such as polls, clicking on offers, daily video, etc… It is very similar to Swagbucks, which I like. But, it seems more reliable with the offers. If you do the daily checklist, you could get $.09 per day just from that. Then, with videos you could easily make about $.50 a day. No, this will not make you rich… But, if done for 30 days, you will have $15.00 that you didn’t have today. This is a very passive way to do it. You could also do coupon printing, and surveys. I have not gotten into the surveys much as they take more time. If you want to try it, consider using my referral code: 1604393. It is worth a try!! The PayPal payment also came in one day for me, which was nice.
So, those are my top 5 for this week! What were your top deals, saving ways, and penny- pinching schemes? I would love to hear about any new apps to try!
Have a great Friday!

Great list. Almost free gum is great and a free chicken is even better. My list is at https://mcoia.blogspot.com/2018/05/my-frugal-list-week-of-may-14-2018.html
