How to Use Fetch Rewards to Get Cash Back on Every Grocery Purchase

I love to use grocery apps!  One of my favorite right now is called Fetch Rewards.  I just cashed out yesterday for a five dollar gift card.  If you are not using Fetch Rewards, what are you waiting for?  In this article, I will explain how to use Fetch Rewards so that you can start earning cash back today!

Fetch Rewards is an app that you can download from the App Store or from Google Play.  You need to have the app on your phone.  Every time you go shopping, you need to save your receipt.  Fetch Rewards will reward receipts from grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, liquor stores, and more, according to their website.  After you buy your items, scan your receipt by going to to the app and clicking on the scan tab at the bottom.  The app will ask for access to your camera.  You need to allow this to take a photo of your receipt.

After you scan your receipt, within a few seconds, it will bring up the cash back amount that you are qualified for from that purchase.  Fetch Rewards has several brands that they partner with such as Kraft, Capri Sun, Oscar Mayer, Campbells, Bryers, Pepsi, Claussen, A1, Heinz, Knorr, and many, many more.  These are regular brand names you would buy.  For their partners, they give back points.  They also have a tab where there are special offers.  These offers give back more points such as above where it is offering 1,500 points for buying two Love Beauty and Planet Shampoo and Conditioner.  Below is the results from a receipt that I scanned today from Walmart.  This was just from some regular grocery shopping.  I didn’t look at the app to match any special offers ahead of time.  It is several pages long so, I will just put the begining pages.  Fetch 4

As you can see from the images, the app was able to find the items that I purchased that were from their partners and gave me points for them.  Then, there were other items, such as the Great Value Walmart items that I didn’t get points for.  The total amount of points that I received from this transaction was 177.  This is equal to about 18¢.  (1,000 points equals a dollar, 3,000 points equals three dollars, etc…)  This is super easy and the points will add up over time.  Also, there is a cool feature that every receipt you scan earns 25 points (2¢), even if it does not match with a partner offer.

The other cool thing is that you can use coupons with these deals.  So, if something featured also has a coupon out, you could potentially get a great deal!

Fetch also has a referral program.  If you refer a friend, you get 2,000 points ($2.00) and so do they after they redeem a receipt.  If you use my code at sign up, you will get those 2,000 points!  My code is GW1VN.

The rewards tab has tons of rewards that you can cash out with.  The rewards start at as little as 3,000 points.  Some of the rewards include:

  • Amazon- starting at 3,000 points
  • Target- starting at 3,000 points
  • Barnes and Noble- starting at 5,000 points
  • Kohls-  starting at 5,000 points
  • Walmart- starting at 5,000 points
  • And many, many more….

So, what do you think?  Do you like using cash back apps?  Are there any that you would recommend?  I would love to hear!

I hope this helps you save a little more money!!

Take Care,

Liz
